Going to Jamaica in the winter time may sound really crazy to you, but that is exactly what I just got done doing. I had an entire month off from college (that may sound like a really long time, but it is the standard amount of time that colleges take off between their fall and spring semesters), and instead of wasting all of that time by sitting at home, I decided that I wanted to take a trip. I wasn’t sure where I wanted to go, so I got online and started checking out the travel packages that were available. I came across a handful of ones that looked promising, but when I found the Jamaica package (which included the flight, hotel and rental car), I knew that it was the one for me.

My friends all thought I was crazy when I told them what I was doing, but after spending an entire eleven days in Jamaica, I can easily say that going there was an extremely good decision to make. The biggest thing that I learned from my winter trip to Jamaica is that although something may seem like a crazy idea, it can turn out to be a really great decision!
