If you have ever been to Jamaica before, then you know that there are some very expensive hotels there. If you haven’t been to Jamaica before but are planning a trip there, you may be discouraged by the prices of many of the hotels and resorts that you come across. While we would all love to stay in an exclusive luxury resort, the truth of the matter is that for most of us, spending six to eight hundred dollars a night is simply not a realistic option (especially during a time when the economy is struggling so badly).

Fortunately, not every single place in Jamaica is priced ridiculously high. Although it can be a little more challenging to find the places that are reasonably priced (because the high priced places do a lot more advertising), I’m going to show you several places right now that you will love and won’t go broke staying at:

Catcha Falling Star: Because this is a great looking resort in Negril, you may think that the prices are sky high. However, at an average of $202 a night, this is a very reasonably priced place to stay during your time in Jamaica. In addition to their great price, they also have a great staff that will help you with anything that you need.

Nirvana on the Beach: At just $152 a night, this place may seem too good to be true, but ask anyone who has stayed there before, and they will tell you that their experience was nothing short of wonderful.

Taino Cove: With rooms as low as $125 a night, staying here might allow you to add an additional day to your time in Jamaica!
